John, I am
resending this note because I incorrectly put April 5 on the part from
Louis. Please change it to today's date--April 4. Thanks,
Margo
John, Please excuse my delay in getting
back to you, but we had no information until last night. Following
is a statement from Louis Faucheaux:
April 5, 2001
We were informed last evening that there were no
successful bidders for Enron's first attempt to sell the mill and
recycling centers of Garden State Paper. Enron will determine a rock
bottom price it will accept for GSP and give interested parties an
opportunity to meet that price. If there are no successful bidders in
the second round, Enron will have no choice but to liquidate the
company. We will do our best to keep you informed as things develop as
we know there are a lot of rumors going around. Louis
Faucheaux, Assistant General Manager
We would appreciate your posting this information in
your website. Thanks and regards, Margo
Margo, I heard that the final bid went in the other day. What if
any was the feedback on it? Please let me know. Thank you,
John Fedynich. My e-mail address is: johnfedy@msn.com
